Tony Has Left M.O.G!

I just stumbled across a link from Standard Digital that announced to the world... or rather Kenya that Tony has left M.O.G! For those of you not in the know, M.O.G previously was a trio comprised of Tony, Boss and Kenti.

They had a brief chat about the reasons why Tony has left and this is what came out:

MOG: Yes Tony has indeed left the group
SDE: Does this have anything to do with the negative publicity he has brought to the group over recent years?
MOG: God no! We do not consider him to have brought ‘bad’ publicity, as you call it to the group. Tony had other business to take care of and we respect that.
SDE: Did you guys ask him to leave the group?
MOG: This group was formed by tightly knit buddies; we have no power to ask one or the other to leave. Tony left on his own will to pursue other interests and we are very happy for him.
SDE: What exactly are those other interests that Tony is actively pursuing?
MOG: Well Tony is pursuing his education at the St Paul’s University and also very involved in various businesses. All these have taken a toll on his time practicing and touring with the group. Hence the choice to concentrate on his studies.
SDE: Are you planning to replace Tony?
MOG: *Laughing*..no way. It’s just the two of us now, thats the way it will stay. The only thing we will change is the name, MOG will become Thee MOG.
SDE: What becomes of MOG now that one very significant pillar is no longer there?
MOG: We are still very strong and we would like to assure the fans out there that they should not expect anything less of MOG just because we are a member less.
